Jerry was born and raised in Northwest Colorado where that wasn’t much of a music scene. For his 15th birthday, his father bought him a Fender Strat and the rest is history.
Jerry and his high school friends started the band STEAL’N and played most of the clubs on the Western Slope of Colorado from 1973 until 1978. Jerry then put together a band called TOK’N with friends he had met in Denver. As with most bands, a lot of glam and glitter but not much money coming in so Jerry decided to get a real job, settle down and raise a family.
25 years later, he decided to pick up his guitar again and regained his love of music and performing. Jerry has played for local favorites in Grand Junction, DON’T ASK, MR. LUCKY, FLASHBACK as well as GOODMAN Band. In 2010 he decided to hang music up for a while and start enjoying his weekends. He also started working in the oil field putting in 70 to 80 hours per week.
When asked to join THE DEAD COWBOYZ, it was an easy decision to make. Why not play in Colorado’s PREMIER ROCK BAND!! Jerry is excited to and honored to play with Craig and David and be part of this amazing rock trio.
The best is yet to come…..
